Peter Vincent Architects Wins AIA Honolulu Award of Merit

Peter Vincent Architects was honored at the AIA Honolulu Design Awards Gala on June 23, 2009. PVA received the Award of Merit for the recently completed Na Manu Eha Renovations and Additions to 1938 Albert Ives Designed Diamond Head Residence.

The International Style Architecture incorporated indoor/outdoor design elements specific to Hawaiian climate. The steeply sloped site and new cantilevered swimming pool affords sweeping views Gold Coast views.

Peter Vincent Architects Announces Two Promotions

Max Guenther has been appointed to Partner at Peter Vincent Architects. Guenther has been with the firm for 12 years and has over 24 years of experience. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University. His most recent project of note is the renovation of the Koa Kea Hotel & Resort on the island of Kauai.

Lupe Zarate has been promoted to Associate. Zarate joined PVA in June 2005 and has since been a driving force on our Project Management team. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University in New York. Her most recent projects of note include, Milici Valenti Ng Pack Office Renovation, Park Shore Waikiki and various residential projects.

Peter Vincent Architects Wins NAIOP Hawaii's 2009 New Commercial Project Award

Peter Vincent Architects was honored at the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Kukulu Hale Awards. PVA received the New Commercial Project Award for the recently completed Crossroads at Kapolei Shopping Center.

Located in Kapolei's Urban Core, Crossroads at Kapolei, is a coordinated development by two local business owners who have been proudly serving their customers collectively for over 170 years. The project is a reflection of their vision to provide business and employment opportunities and encourage economic development in Hawaii. The architectural design inspiration for the project draws upon historical references of the region and motifs from Hawaii's past and reinterprets them in a refreshing and modern design aesthetic. The project has a unique, stylistic identity and yet is complimentary to the vernacular architecture of the surrounding community.

Jessica Holley promoted to Senior Interior Designer at PVA

Jessica Holley has been promoted to Senior Interior Designer at PVA. Jessica joined the firm in October 2005 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Kent State University. Her most notable project is the new 26,000 square foot “carbon neutral” Kahala Estate currently in progress.

Three Architectural Designers Join the Peter Vincent Architects Team

James Reilly joins PVA also as an architectural designer with 5 years of professional experience. He attended the University of Miami where he received a Bachelor’s of Architecture with a Minor in Business Management.

Roger Gumerman joins the firm as an architectural designer with over 7 years of design experience for a variety of residential and commercial projects. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University.

Cheryl Ing joins PVA as an architectural designer with over 17 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
